Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-05-28
1. Who we are
people's pot is operated by [Legal entity name — to be filled in](“we”, “us”). We are the data controller for personal data processed through peoplespot.xyz and peoplespot.bet. Questions about this policy or data-subject requests: [privacy@peoplespot.bet — to be filled in].
2. What we collect
- Account data: your email address (collected by our authentication provider, Privy, when you log in).
- Wallet data: the public Solana wallet address associated with your account. Wallet addresses are public on-chain identifiers and are not, on their own, considered private.
- Gameplay data: tickets purchased, rounds entered, referral codes used, and the on-chain transactions you sign. All on-chain data is public on the Solana network by design.
- Site usage: if (and only if) you accept analytics cookies, we collect aggregated usage signals via Google Analytics 4 — page views, clicks, approximate region, device class, and the custom events listed in our Cookies Policy. IP addresses are not stored by us and are anonymized by Google.
- Strictly necessary cookies: a session token from Privy, a small cookie that remembers your consent choice, and any CSRF token needed to keep the site secure.
3. Why we use this data, and our lawful basis
- To deliver the service (accounts, ticket purchases, payouts) — lawful basis: performance of a contract.
- To keep the site secure and prevent abuse — lawful basis: legitimate interest.
- To understand how the site is used and improve it (Google Analytics 4) — lawful basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time via the “Cookie preferences” link in the footer.
- To meet legal and regulatory obligations, including those that apply to online gaming in your jurisdiction — lawful basis: legal obligation.
4. Who we share data with
We share the minimum data necessary with the following processors, each of which is bound by appropriate data-protection agreements:
- Privy Inc. — Authentication & embedded-wallet provider (email login, Solana wallet creation). Location: United States.
- Supabase Inc. — Application database & realtime backend. Location: United States / EU (configurable).
- Google LLC (Google Analytics 4) — Site analytics, loaded only after you accept analytics cookies. Location: United States.
- Solana network — Public blockchain — ticket purchases and payouts are recorded on-chain by design. Location: Public / decentralized.
We do not sell personal data. We do not share data with advertisers.
5. Retention
- Google Analytics data is retained for 14 months and then deleted.
- Account data is retained for as long as your account is active, plus any period required by tax, regulatory, or anti-fraud obligations.
- On-chain data (ticket purchases, payouts) is recorded on the Solana blockchain and cannot be deleted. This is an inherent property of public blockchains and is part of the product you signed up for.
6. Your rights
If you are in the EEA, the UK, or another jurisdiction that grants equivalent rights, you have the right to: access your data, correct inaccuracies, request erasure (subject to legal limits, including the immutability of on-chain records), object to processing, request portability, and withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email [privacy@peoplespot.bet — to be filled in]. You also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.
7. International transfers
Our processors (Privy, Supabase, Google) may store and process data outside the European Economic Area. Where this happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards — including the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses — to protect your data.
8. Cookies & analytics
The full list of cookies we set, what they do, and how long they last is in our Cookies Policy. You can change your choice at any time via the “Cookie preferences” link in the footer.
9. Online gaming notices
people's pot is an on-chain lottery. Participation may be restricted in your jurisdiction; you are responsible for ensuring that your use of the service is lawful where you are. We require participants to be of legal age in their jurisdiction. If you believe you may have a problem with gambling, please contact a local support organisation — our team will add region-specific resources here as we expand to new markets.
10. Changes to this policy
We’ll update this page when our practices change. Material changes will be flagged with a fresh “last updated” date and, where appropriate, a renewed consent prompt.
